The following console commands are available during Jailbreak matches. (You can bind them to keys if you wish.)
- TeamTactics <tactics>
TeamTactics <tactics> <team> Selects a team's current tactics. The team tactics define how bots select their orders on that team. Bots take human players' behavior into account (if all human players are attacking the enemy base, bots might focus on defense, for instance).
Substitute <tactics> by one of the following terms. (It is sufficient just to enter the first few unique letters.)
- auto enables auto-selection of team tactics. The game then automatically changes the tactics to accommodate the current game situation.
- normal, aggressive, defensive, suicidal or evasive directly select the specified tactics.
- up and down modify the currently selected team tactics either towards more aggressive tactics or towards more defensive tactics.
If you use the second variation of this command, you can substitute <team> by red or blue to specify the team whose tactics you wish to change. By default, you change your own team's tactics. Only administrators can change the enemy team's tactics (or, in spectator mode, any team's).
- ArenaCam
- Toggles arena cam view and switches through all available arena cams. Applies only when an arena fight is going on.
- ViewTeamFree
ViewTeamJailed
ViewTeamAny - Lets you spectate from a teammate's point of view (selecting a free, jailed or any teammate, respectively). If you're a spectator or logged in as an administrator, switches through players of both teams.
- ViewSelf
- Resets your viewpoint to your own point of view if you were previously watching through a camera or from a teammate's point of view.
- BotThoughts on|off
BotThoughts log|screen
BotThoughts log|screen on|off - Enables the display or logging of explanations of the reasoning behind how JBBotTeam orders bots. Useful for debugging and for reporting bot-related bugs.
- SetupPanorama
- Enters minimap adjustment mode. Works only in Instant Action games. See Adding a Scoreboard Minimap for details on creating and setting up a scoreboard minimap.
Debugging Commands
The JBMutatorDebug mutator provides several useful console commands for debugging as well (when activated). See Debugging Techniques.
